The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts, this Tuesday, that rain or thunderstorms will affect the High and Middle Atlas mountains and their western slopes, the southeastern foothills, and regions such as Chiadma, Abda, Doukkala, Chaouia, phosphate plateaus and Oulmes, Rahamna, the Souss region, the Tangier area, Loukkos, Gharb, and the western Rif.
Light and scattered rainfall is expected in the southeast, the Saiss region, the Oriental area, and eastern Rif. Additionally, snowfall is anticipated over the peaks of the High Atlas mountains.
Moderately strong gusts of wind will impact the south of the Oriental area and the northern and central plains.
Minimum temperatures will range between 07 and 13 degrees in the Atlas mountains, the Rif, and the eastern highlands, and between 17 and 23 degrees near the coasts and in the eastern southern provinces. They will range from 13 to 17 degrees in the rest of the country.
Daytime temperatures will increase in the Souss region and the south of the country, while decreasing elsewhere. The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast.
