The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts, this Wednesday, rain or showers, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, in the regions of Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, Rif, the High Atlas and its eastern slopes, as well as in the plains of Tadla, Rahmna, Abda, Chiadma, and Souss.
Light and scattered rains are also expected in Saïss, the southeastern regions, southern Oriental, and the mountains of the Middle Atlas, with some drizzles over the high plateaus of the Oriental, the Small Atlas, and nearby western plains.
Clouds coming from the south will cover the far south of the country, possibly bringing some rainfall with occasional thunderstorms. Moderately strong winds will blow along the northern coasts and the western Rif.
The minimum temperatures will range from 5 to 10 degrees in the mountains of the High and Middle Atlas, between 11 and 15 degrees in the Small Atlas, the Rif, the southeast, phosphate plateaus, and the high plateaus of the Oriental, between 17 and 20 degrees near the coasts and eastern Saharan provinces, and between 14 and 17 degrees in other parts of the kingdom.
Daytime temperatures will drop in the central plains but rise in other regions of the country.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean front, slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar and south of Cap Ghir, and rough to very rough north of Cap Ghir.
