The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on a positive trend this Friday, with its main index, the « MASI, » rising by 0.61% to settle at 14,210.93 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, which tracks the performance of 20 listed companies, saw an increase of 0.71% to reach 1,144.32 points, while the MASI.ESG, an index for companies with the best ESG ratings, advanced by 0.57% to 1,022.79 points.
Additionally, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, rose by 0.46% to 1,356.5 points.
The MASI index had closed yesterday, Thursday, with a gain of 2.1%.
