In a high-profile security operation in Casablanca’s Derb Sultan area, police forces managed to apprehend one of the most dangerous drug traffickers, particularly known for distributing hallucinogenic pills called « karkoubi ». The suspect was wanted under several national arrest warrants.
The arrest followed a well-coordinated chase led by security officers, culminating in the capture of the dealer, who had long been a source of distress for the local residents.
Following directives from the public prosecutor, a thorough search was conducted at the suspect’s residence, resulting in the discovery of a large quantity of « karkoubi » pills that were intended for distribution in the Derb Sultan area.
Security sources reported that the suspect has been placed in custody for further investigation, aiming to uncover the identities of other individuals involved and the networks connected to this criminal activity.
