The Moroccan youth boxing team, for both men and women, will participate in the World Championship, scheduled to take place in Budva, Montenegro, from October 20 to November 4.
A statement from the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation announced that the men’s youth team representing Morocco consists of: Othman Chadhour (48 kg), Abdelali Boudenguit (51 kg), Farhan Mohamed Jamaï (54 kg), Seif Eddine Chekli (57 kg), Salah Eddine Hammamouch (60 kg), Adham Choukri (63 kg), Yassir Barshami (67 kg), Mohamed Amine Harnoun (71 kg), and Ilyas Kraiba (75 kg).
As for the women’s team, it includes boxers Yasmine Annabi (48 kg), Farah Abdeljawad (50 kg), Amira Dhangir (52 kg), Jihane El Mokhtari (54 kg), Dhoha Dhirir (57 kg), Safae Zoubaâ (60 kg), Khadija Berkach (63 kg), and Naïma Boussalem (66 kg).
The statement further noted the inclusion of new athletes, aiming to secure their place in the national elite team, in line with the Federation’s strategic goals. This participation is part of the preparation for young boxers for upcoming global competitions.
The technical staff of the national youth team includes the Cuban coach Juan Carlos Ferrer, alongside national trainers Nourdine Anmira, Ahmed Ouahhar, and Harith Tanouti.
