In September 2024, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) showed a decline in several cities of the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, ranging from 0.2% to 2.7%. The largest decrease was recorded in Al Hoceima at -2.7%, while Tétouan and Tanger saw a 0.2% drop.
Over the first nine months of the year, the CPI in the region showed an increase, with rises between 0.7% in Tanger and 1.6% in Tétouan. The CPI tracks changes in consumer prices and measures inflation.
Data is collected regularly from 18 Moroccan cities, including Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakech.
