The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading this Wednesday on a downward trend, with the main index « MASI » dropping by 0.28%, settling at 14,045.9 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, also fell by 0.24% to 1,129.83 points. Meanwhile, the « MASI.ESG » index, representing companies with the best ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings, decreased by 0.37%, reaching 1,008.65 points.
Additionally, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized companies, declined by 0.32%, settling at 1,344.63 points.
Regarding individual stocks, the biggest declines were recorded by « Atlanta Sanad » (-4.57% to 131.65 dirhams), « Stroc Industrie » (-3.92% to 49 dirhams), « SNEP » (-2.45% to 466.25 dirhams), « Risma » (-2.44% to 214.10 dirhams), and « Mutandis » (-2.3% to 291.15 dirhams).
On the other hand, the top gainers included « Résidences Dar Saada » (+5% to 84 dirhams), « Mechanical Realizations Company » (+2.14% to 430 dirhams), « Alliances » (+1.31% to 309 dirhams), « Auto Hall » (+0.7% to 70.99 dirhams), and « Diar Al Mansour » (+0.42% to 33.56 dirhams).
Yesterday, the MASI index closed with a slight increase of 0.04%.
