The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts for this Wednesday locally moderate thunderstorms accompanied by wind gusts, with the possibility of hail over the High and Middle Atlas mountains, as well as the phosphate plateaus and Tadla plains.

Thunderclouds accompanied by localized rain showers are also expected over the Small Atlas, Rahmna region, and inland Chaouia. The skies will occasionally be cloudy over the northern Saharan provinces, with the formation of low clouds accompanied by light rain showers along the Mediterranean coast.

Fog banks and low clouds are expected to appear in the northern eastern region and along the northern and central Atlantic coasts, particularly at night and in the morning.

Dust may spread locally inside the Saharan provinces, and somewhat strong to strong wind gusts are expected in the Tangier area.

The minimum temperatures will range between 8 and 14 degrees in the Atlas mountains, the Rif, and the eastern region, and between 18 and 24 degrees in the central inland plains, Souss, the far southeast of the country, and in the eastern and southern Saharan provinces. Elsewhere, they will range between 15 and 20 degrees.

Maximum temperatures will rise in the north and east of the Saharan provinces but will decrease in the rest of the country.

The sea will be slightly to moderately rough along the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the Atlantic coasts, and rough between Mehdia and Tan-Tan.
