Today, the General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts rainfall starting this afternoon in areas like Tangier, Loukkos, Gharb, Saïss, the Rif, and along the Mediterranean coast, as well as in the Atlantic plains north of El Jadida. Light, scattered showers are also expected over the High and Middle Atlas mountains, their eastern slopes, and in the eastern parts of the country. The coast between Sidi Ifni and Laayoune may experience very light rain or drizzle. The weather will remain relatively cold with local frost in the morning and night over the Atlas Mountains. Moderate to strong winds are anticipated along the Mediterranean coast, central Atlantic plains, and southern regions. Minimum temperatures will range from 3 to 10°C in the Atlas, Rif, and high eastern plateaus, 17 to 23°C in the southern provinces and coastal areas, and 12 to 18°C elsewhere. Daytime temperatures are expected to drop. Seas will be rough to very rough in the Mediterranean, mild in the Strait, and rough to very rough along the Atlantic coast, with stronger waves in the afternoon between Cap Ghir and Tarfaya.
