The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts for Friday a general weather pattern with low clouds and fog over the northern and central Atlantic plains, the Mediterranean front, northern eastern regions, and the northern Saharan provinces.
Temperatures will be relatively cool, with localized frost on the Atlas Mountains.
Partly cloudy skies are expected, with scattered showers over Tangier, the Rif, the Middle Atlas, the Mediterranean front, and the central coasts.
Low temperatures will range from 0 to 6°C in the Atlas mountains and the eastern highlands, from 14 to 22°C in the southern Saharan provinces and near coastal areas, and from 7 to 13°C across other regions. Daytime temperatures will remain generally steady.
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, slightly choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar and from Tangier to Boujdour, and slightly choppy to choppy along other coasts.
