Moroccan artist Sahar Seddiki recently shared her concerns on Instagram, revealing a story that made her uneasy about potentially being scammed. A man claiming to want a paid collaboration for his restaurant approached her with an unusual proposal.
In her story, Seddiki detailed the offer. The restaurant expressed interest in her terms, offering a luxurious hotel stay, a first-class flight, and an amount exceeding her requested fee for promoting their dishes.
Although the interactions were professional, she found it odd that they asked her to cover any additional expenses. They also offered a full week of homemade meals, emphasizing their expertise in Moroccan cuisine.
Puzzled, Seddiki questioned, « What do they really want? Are they just trying to know my address? Or do they have other motives? » She quickly turned to her followers, seeking their opinions on the matter.
