The General Directorate of Meteorology expects partly cloudy skies today along the Mediterranean coast, Loukkos, the Rif, the western region, Saïss, and the northern coastal areas up to Safi, with occasional scattered rain showers.
Unstable clouds with thunderstorms and light showers are expected over the Middle Atlas mountains and southeastern areas. Low clouds with fog patches are also anticipated along the Mediterranean coastline, Moulouya Valley, the Phosphate Plateau, Oulmès, as well as northern and central plains, and southern coasts.
Moderate to locally strong wind gusts are forecasted in the Tangier region and the southeast, while the atmosphere will be relatively cold with local frost in the Atlas Mountains.
Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 7 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, Rif, and eastern highlands, between 17 and 21 degrees in the southern provinces, and between 8 and 16 degrees across the rest of the kingdom. Daytime temperatures will remain relatively stable.
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean, in the Strait of Gibraltar, and north of Asilah, while it will be slightly rough along other coasts.
