On Sunday, November 3, police in Larache arrested a 27-year-old man with multiple criminal records on suspicion of drug possession and trafficking of psychoactive substances.
The arrest took place during a security operation this morning in Larache’s Al Jadid neighborhood. The suspect was the subject of multiple national search warrants issued by law enforcement for alleged involvement in the possession and trafficking of hard drugs.
A search of his home led to the seizure of 2,535 psychoactive pills of various types and categories, as well as 19 grams of heroin and multiple doses of cocaine.
The suspect has been placed in custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. The ongoing judicial investigation aims to uncover any potential links to this criminal activity and to clarify all criminal acts attributed to him.
