The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading on a positive note this Tuesday, with the main MASI index advancing by 0.23% to settle at 14,201.34 points.
The MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, increased by 0.28%, reaching 1,158.96 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG, which includes companies with the highest ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, gained 0.35% to stand at 1,027.23 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, tracking the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, rose by 0.41% to 1,409.03 points.
Among individual stocks, the top gainers were AB Maroc.com (+7.66% at 34.99 MAD), Société des Réalisations Mécaniques (+6.59% at 510 MAD), Feni Brousse (+4.41% at 114.90 MAD), Sonasid (+4.28% at 1,030 MAD), and Auto Hall (+2.91% at 69.93 MAD).
On the other hand, the top decliners included Société Minière de Touissit (-2.77% at 1,546 MAD), Afriquia Gaz (-0.96% at 3,813 MAD), Travaux Généraux de Construction de Casablanca (-0.45% at 444 MAD), SNEP (-0.18% at 480 MAD), and Aradei Capital (-0.17% at 495.15 MAD).
On Monday, the MASI index had also closed on a positive note, registering a gain of 0.21%.
