The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading positively this Friday, with its main index, « MASI, » up by 0.29%, settling at 14,530.28 points.
The « MASI.20 » index, which tracks the performance of the 20 largest companies, rose by 0.35% to 1,174.96 points, while the MASI.ESG, which includes companies with top ESG ratings, gained 0.33% to reach 1,042.15 points.
The « MASI Mid and Small Cap, » reflecting the performance of smaller companies, also increased by 0.43% to 1,420.98 points.
Among individual stocks, the biggest gains were recorded by « Mechanical Realization Company » (+8.33% at 627 dirhams), « Managem » (+3.65% at 2,840 dirhams), « Marsamaroc » (+2.85% at 497.8 dirhams), « Alliance » (+2.69% at 344 dirhams), and « HPS » (+2.5% at 574 dirhams).
On the other hand, the largest declines were posted by « Aradei Capital » (-1.48% at 492.5 dirhams), « Auto Hall » (-1.44% at 68.5 dirhams), « Med Paper » (-0.99% at 20 dirhams), « TGCC » (-0.63% at 445.1 dirhams), and « BMCI » (-0.5% at 1,005 dirhams). The MASI index had ended Thursday’s session with a 1.33% increase.
