Today, Friday, the General Directorate of Meteorology anticipates a general cooling in the northern plains of Morocco, with relatively warm weather persisting in the Souss region and the southern areas of the country.
In the central coastlines, thick low clouds are expected, bringing light, localized rain in the morning, along with fog patches in the northeastern areas, the Mediterranean front, and near the northern coastlines.
The sky will be occasionally cloudy in the north, with generally clear skies in other regions. Some dust clouds may be observed in interior areas of the Saharan provinces.
Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 7 to 13 degrees in the Atlas mountains, their eastern slopes, the Rif, and the eastern part of the country, from 20 to 25 degrees in the central regions and inland Saharan provinces, and between 14 and 19 degrees in the rest of the country.
Daytime temperatures will decrease in the northern plains and remain steady elsewhere.
The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, slightly choppy to choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar, and locally calm to slightly choppy between Tarfaya and Laayoune.
