In the early hours of Wednesday, November 13, police officers from the judicial department in Beni Makada, Tangier, arrested four individuals, aged between 40 and 50, suspected of drug possession and trafficking.
The suspects were intercepted in two cars in the Al Majd area of Tangier. A search of one of the vehicles’ trunks led to the discovery of two packages of hashish weighing a total of 60 kilograms, along with cell phones suspected to be used for criminal activities.
One of the suspects was already subject to two national arrest warrants issued by Tangier’s judicial police for involvement in illegal migration and criminal gang formation.
The detainees are now under judicial investigation led by the relevant public prosecutor, aiming to uncover the full circumstances of this case and any further connections to this criminal network.
