On Wednesday, November 13, police in Oulad Teïma apprehended a 21-year-old man suspected of carrying a bladed weapon and inciting physical violence during sports-related disturbances.
Authorities were alerted to a video circulating on social media showing an individual wielding a weapon, claiming to support a local football team in Oulad Teïma. In the video, he hurls insults and encourages violence against fans of a rival team from Tiznit.
Investigations based on this footage led to the identification of the suspect, who was subsequently detained in the rural area of « Aïn Chouaib » near Oulad Teïma.
The suspect is being held in police custody under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for further investigation into the circumstances of this case.
