The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts rain or showers in the areas of Tangier, Loukkos, and western Rif on Wednesday. Additional rainfall is expected in the Oriental, the southeast, and the Middle Atlas.
Light showers may also occur in the central region, in the plains west of the Atlas, and along the Mediterranean coast. The Atlantic coast and plains will see the formation of low clouds accompanied by patches of fog.
Temperatures will be relatively cold in mountainous areas, with moderate winds expected in the High Atlas, the Oriental, and the southeastern parts of the country.
Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 4 degrees in mountainous areas, from 4 to 7 degrees on the high plateaus, from 10 to 13 degrees in the northern and central plains, and between 13 and 17 degrees across the rest of the country. Daytime temperatures will rise in the northern Oriental region but decrease in other areas.
Sea conditions will range from slight to moderate in the Mediterranean, calm to slight in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slight to moderate along the Atlantic coast.
