Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, General Director of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, is taking part as a member of the Supreme Council of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in the 50th annual council meeting, along with the graduation ceremony for the 42nd class of graduate students. These events are hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 12 to 14, 2024.
This year’s council session was highlighted by the adoption of the university’s new 2025-2029 strategic plan to advance educational and scientific research environments, addressing emerging security challenges. The council also reviewed the 2019-2023 strategy, spotlighting the university’s efforts in fields such as artificial intelligence, cybercrime, crisis management, and decision-making in security institutions.
Mr. Hammouchi shared his proposals for the new training strategy (2025-2029), aimed at developing academic training in security, introducing new scientific specializations, and enhancing training quality. The council members also discussed the main pillars of this strategy, including financial sustainability, governance, and digital transformation.
