The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts occasional thunderstorms with locally significant rainfall today along the Atlantic plains stretching from El Jadida to Essaouira.
Light showers are also expected over the northern Atlantic plains, including Gharb, Loukkos, Tangier, and the western Mediterranean coast.
Low clouds with local fog patches will form in the morning and evening over the Tadla plains, the Phosphate Plateau, and some areas of the southern provinces.
Elsewhere, the weather will remain relatively cool over the highlands, with dust blowing in the southeastern and eastern regions.
Moderately strong wind gusts will affect the central plains, the High Atlas, and the eastern region.
Low temperatures will range from 2 to 8 degrees in the Atlas Mountains, 11 to 16 degrees in the Saharan provinces, the Souss region, and near the coasts, and between 7 and 12 degrees in other areas of the country.
Daytime temperatures will rise in the northeast, the Rif, the west, the Atlas, and the Souss regions, but will decrease elsewhere. The sea will be slightly rough to rough in the Mediterranean, slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast.
