King Mohammed VI Congratulates President Mahmoud Abbas on Palestine’s National Day

His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to His Excellency Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.

In the message, the King stated:

“It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt congratulations and sincere wishes for abundant health and prosperity to Your Excellency, as well as for freedom, independence, prosperity, and peace for the brotherly Palestinian people.”

The King added:

“On this occasion, I wish to express my unwavering pride in the solid fraternal ties and constructive cooperation that unite our two countries and peoples. I also reaffirm the Kingdom of Morocco’s steadfast support for your ongoing efforts to realize the legitimate aspirations of your proud people, foremost among them the right to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international legality.”

Finally, the King prayed to the Almighty to grant His Excellency Mahmoud Abbas strength and success in his wise leadership of the brotherly Palestinian people.
