Weather Forecast for Friday

The General Directorate of Meteorology announces the following for Friday:

• Rain and occasional thunderstorms : expected over the High Atlas Mountains.

• Light night rainfall : anticipated in the Small and Middle Atlas, northern and central Atlantic plains, and the western Mediterranean coast.

• Snowfall : on the peaks of the High Atlas.

• Cool temperatures : will prevail in mountainous regions, with localized dust storms in southern provinces, the southeast, and the eastern region.

• Moderate to strong winds : expected in the northeastern parts of southern provinces, the Atlas Mountains, the southeast, and the eastern regions.

Temperatures :

• Lows: 1–7°C in the Atlas and Rif mountains, 11–16°C in the Saharan provinces, Souss, extreme southeast, and coastal areas.

• Highs: temperatures will generally increase across the kingdom.

Sea conditions :

• Mediterranean: slight to moderate, becoming rough to very rough.

• Strait of Gibraltar: slight to moderate.

• Atlantic: slight to moderate, locally rough between El Jadida and Agadir.
