As the government pushes forward with healthcare reforms under its social state project, nurses, students, and graduates of nursing and health institutes have voiced strong opposition. This Saturday, a “national protest” was held outside the Parliament to reject privatization and protect workers’ rights. Protesters demanded fair wages, adequate job opportunities for graduates, and swift payment of clinical training allowances, criticizing the government for its “patchwork policies” in the health sector.
