Casablanca Stock Exchange ends the week on a positive note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed trading during the week of November 19–22 with gains. Its main index, MASI, rose slightly by 0.16%, reaching 14,886.65 points.

The MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, climbed by 0.4% to 1,210.37 points, while the MASI.ESG index, tracking companies with the best ESG ratings, advanced by 0.07% to 1,064.46 points.

On the other hand, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, representing small and medium-sized enterprises, declined by 0.48% to 1,437.5 points.

The total trading volume amounted to MAD 1.05 billion, mainly conducted on the central market. Market capitalization stood at MAD 761.11 billion.

Top gainers included Maghreb Payment Systems (+15.38% at MAD 270), Stokvis North Africa(+8.07% at MAD 16.02), and Dari Couspate (+5.98% at MAD 3,686).

Conversely, the biggest decliners were Mechanical Realizations (-23.4% at MAD 406), Zellidja(-9.61% at MAD 94.01), and Maghreb Oxygen (-8.56% at MAD 228.55).
