Weather Forecast for Saturday

The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts relatively cool weather in the morning and at night over the Middle and High Atlas mountains as well as the eastern highlands.

Temperatures and Rainfall

During the day, temperatures will be relatively high in Souss, the Anti-Atlas, and southern provinces. Localized showers and thunderstorms are expected in the High and Anti-Atlas mountains, Souss, and the extreme southeast.

Fog and Winds

Low clouds with fog will form at night and early morning in the Kenitra region and southern areas. Moderate to strong gusts of wind are expected in the northern parts of the southern provinces, Souss, and the Strait of Gibraltar.

Temperature Variations

• Minimum temperatures:

  • 02–08°C: Atlas mountains, Rif, and the eastern region.

  • 15–21°C: Southern provinces, Souss, and near central coasts.

  • 09–14°C: Rest of the country.

• Maximum temperatures:

  • Notable increase in the plains and the eastern region.

  • Slight decrease in other areas.

Sea Conditions

• Mediterranean: calm to slightly rough.

• Strait of Gibraltar: slightly rough to rough.

• Atlantic Coast: slightly rough to rough between Tangier and Tantan, calm elsewhere.
