The 17-year-old talent Lamine Yamal will miss FC Barcelona’s match against French side Brest, scheduled for tomorrow evening in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League, due to a muscle injury.
According to the Spanish outlet Marca, Yamal did not participate in Barcelona’s training session on Monday, indicating his absence from this crucial game.
Meanwhile, AS reported that despite not being fit enough to face Brest, the young star is expected to be available for Barcelona’s La Liga clash against Las Palmas on Saturday.
Earlier this month, Yamal suffered a thigh injury, with the club announcing a recovery period of two to three weeks.
Although he will miss tomorrow’s game, Yamal has enjoyed a spectacular start to the season, featuring in 16 matches across all competitions, scoring 6 goals, and providing 8 assists.
