The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading this Wednesday with a positive performance. Its main index, MASI, increased by 0.38%, settling at 14,868.51 points.
Shortly after the opening, the MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, and the MASI.ESG, which includes companies with top ESG ratings, recorded gains of 0.42% to 1,209.28 points and 0.30% to 1,061.40 points, respectively.
Similarly, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, tracking small and medium-sized enterprises, rose by 0.83%, reaching 1,452.19 points.
It is worth noting that the MASI index closed yesterday’s session, Tuesday, with a gain of 0.63%.
