Visa For Music 2024 Celebrates its 11th Edition with Resounding Success

The organizers of the 11th edition of Visa For Music, held from November 20 to 23 in Rabat, reported an impressive turnout of over 12,000 attendees. Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the event amazed audiences with breathtaking performances at iconic venues like the Mohammed V National Theater, Renaissance Cinema, Bahnini Hall, and Chellah Stage.

In partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication and the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Regional Council, this edition featured 10 conferences and roundtables discussing global musical issues. Additionally, 14 workshops and training sessions helped over 500 participants refine their skills, while 800 professional meetings paved the way for new collaborations.

The event brought together 53 bands, 500 artists from 35 countries, and over 1,200 professionals from 80 nations, solidifying its reputation as a hub for key players in African and international music.

Visa For Music welcomed prominent delegations and renowned institutions like Live Nation and South Africa’s National Arts Council, emphasizing intercultural dialogue and showcasing musical diversity with artists from all continents.

Festival founder and director Ibrahim El Mazned stated: “Visa For Music is more than a festival; it is a human and professional gathering that reflects the power of culture to unite people.”
