Weather Forecast for Today, Thursday

The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts a relatively warm to hot weather over the northern and central plains, the Atlantic plains, and the southern provinces of the Kingdom.

Cumulus clouds may form, potentially bringing scattered light showers in the High Atlas and the eastern slopes. Additionally, dense low clouds are expected along the Mediterranean coast and northern Rif.

During the morning and night, fog or mist patches are likely to develop over the northern Atlantic plains, the Mediterranean coastline, and northern areas of the eastern region.

Moderate to occasionally strong wind gusts, carrying dust, are anticipated in southern areas and west of the Anti-Atlas.

Minimum temperatures will range between:

• 5 and 11°C in the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, the high eastern plateaus, and southeastern slopes,

• 16 and 22°C in the Souss region, the Saharan provinces, and coastal areas,

• 11 and 17°C elsewhere across the country.

Daytime will witness a notable rise in temperatures in the northern Atlantic plains.

As for the sea:

• It will be calm to slightly rough along the Mediterranean coast,

• Slightly rough to rough in the Strait of Gibraltar and along the Atlantic coastline.
