The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened its trading session this Friday with an upward trend. Its main index, MASI, rose by 0.36%, settling at 14,942.56 points.
Minutes after the opening, the MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of 20 major listed companies, increased by 0.35% to 1,216.30 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, tracking companies with the best ESG ratings, gained 0.36% to reach 1,066.03 points.
Additionally, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, climbed by 0.77% to stand at 1,444.61 points.
It is worth noting that the MASI closed Thursday’s session with a slight loss of 0.09%.
