This remarkable progress reflects Azam’s steady rise since Taoussi’s appointment, positioning the team in a fierce title race alongside Simba SC and Young Africans.
In the 13th round, Azam secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Dodoma Jiji, extending the Moroccan coach’s winning streak with the team.
This success highlights the collaborative efforts of Taoussi and his professional Moroccan staff, which includes assistant coach Idriss Ouaggou, fitness trainer Badr Idrissi, and goalkeeper coach Rachid Makkaoui.
Since joining Azam on September 7, Taoussi has delivered impressive results, earning him the « Coach of the Month » award for October 2024. This recognition underscores his outstanding performance and cements his reputation as one of Africa’s top coaches.
