Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens with Gains
The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading on a positive note this Wednesday. Its main index, the MASI, recorded a growth of 0.15%, reaching 14,750.21 points.
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, rose by 0.18% to 1,199.57 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, featuring companies with top ESG ratings, advanced by 0.1% to 1,053.09 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, reflecting the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises, also rose by 0.12%, reaching 1,434.95 points.
On the individual stocks level, the biggest gains were observed for:
