The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has unveiled a series of new appointments to leadership positions in central departments and various cities, including Fez, Tetouan, Casablanca, Errachidia, Marrakech, and Khouribga. These appointments are part of an internal strategy aimed at injecting fresh energy and leveraging young, experienced security talents to effectively enhance citizen safety and protect property.
As part of this initiative, the Director General of the DGSN, Abdellatif Hammouchi, approved the appointment of nine new officials to various posts. Among them are the head of the Mobile Security Group “GMS 99” under the Public Security Directorate, as well as the heads of two police districts in Tetouan and Aïn Chock (Casablanca).
The new assignments also include senior officers from the uniformed police, who will now lead the urban security unit in Essaouira and the traffic division in Imintanout. Additionally, new chiefs of traffic accident services have been assigned to Fez City’s security area and Khouribga’s regional department.
The list also features the appointment of a new-generation security officer to head the regional intelligence service in Fez, alongside a chief for the anti-gang unit affiliated with the regional security office in Errachidia.
