The General Directorate of Meteorology expects relatively cold weather this Monday in the Atlas and Rif mountains, the eastern region, southeastern slopes, and northern and central interior plains, particularly during the mornings and nights.
Dense low clouds accompanied by fog are expected in the morning and evening over the northern and central Atlantic plains, the eastern region, Saïs, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, and the northern Saharan provinces.
Light and scattered rain may fall in the morning on the eastern Mediterranean front and the northern part of the eastern region.
Additionally, somewhat strong wind gusts are forecasted for the Mediterranean coast, central shores, and the northern Saharan provinces, with dust storms likely in the northern southern regions.
Minimum temperatures will range between 0°C and 6°C in the Atlas mountains and high eastern plateaus, between 12°C and 16°C in the southern regions and Souss, and between 6°C and 13°C in the rest of the country. Daytime temperatures will see a general decrease.
Finally, the sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, calm to slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, rough to very rough between Mehdia and Tan-Tan, and slightly rough to rough along the rest of the coast.
