The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts, this Friday, partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies in the far northwest of the Kingdom. Foggy patches are expected over the central interior plains and northern southern provinces, while the rest of the country will experience calm weather with clear skies.
Relatively cold to cold weather is anticipated, with frost during the night and early morning in the Rif, Atlas, southeastern regions, high eastern plateaus, and interior plains.
Minimum temperatures will range from -6°C to 0°C in the Atlas Mountains and high eastern plateaus, from -1°C to 4°C in the Rif, plains west of the Atlas, phosphate plateaus, Oulmès, and other eastern regions. Coastal areas in the center and south will see temperatures between 12°C and 15°C, and other regions between 6°C and 10°C. Maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly.
At sea, conditions will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly choppy to choppy along the Atlantic coasts.
