The winners of the 22nd edition of Morocco’s National Press Grand Prize were announced yesterday, Friday in Rabat, during a ceremony attended by key figures such as Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Abdeljabar Rachidi, Secretary of State for Social Integration, and Mohamed Amine Benabdellah, President of the Constitutional Court.

Honorary Award

The honorary award, recognizing outstanding contributions to the national media landscape, was jointly given to Mustafa Alaoui and Latifa Marouane.

Moroccan Journalists Abroad :

  • Fadwa Mrabti (Al-Ghad Al-Arabi).
  • Adel Zoubeiri (Al-Arabiya).

Television Award :

  • Jamâa Klahssan (2M) for « Stay or Build ».
  • Abdelhamid Jibrane (Al Aoula) for « Mechanism of Renewable Energies ».

Radio Award :

  • Amine Lamrani (SNRT) for « Autistic Children: Silent Suffering ».

Print Journalism Award :

Aziz Bousta, head of the jury, highlighted the significant rise in female participation (40% of applications) and equal representation among winners. He proposed enhancements such as a mixed nomination system, a new sports journalism category, and updated criteria for cartoonists.
