The Casablanca Security Services opened a judicial investigation, under the supervision of the relevant public prosecutor’s office, in the early hours of Tuesday to determine the circumstances, motives, and details surrounding a police officer’s decision to end his life at his family residence in Casablanca.
According to initial investigations and on-site findings, the deceased’s body was discovered hanging from a rope inside his apartment. This discovery occurred after his absence from work was reported, and he failed to attend a scheduled session with the National Security Health Inspectorate, which aimed to assess his physical and mental health condition.
The same sources reported that the officer’s body has been transferred to the hospital for an autopsy to determine the direct cause of death. Investigations and inquiries are ongoing to uncover the true motives behind this incident.
