Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Trading with Gains

The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading this Wednesday on a positive note. Its main index, « MASI », rose by 0.37%, reaching 14,830.8 points.

The « MASI.20 » index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, gained 0.52%, settling at 1,203.76 points. Similarly, the MASI.ESG index, which includes companies with top ESG ratings, improved by 0.37%, reaching 1,050.54 points.

Meanwhile, the « MASI Mid and Small Cap » index, reflecting the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, climbed by 0.22%, ending at 1,497.77 points.

As a reminder, the MASI index closed Tuesday’s session with an increase of 0.49%.
