The second edition of the National Conference on Advanced Regionalization, scheduled for December 20-21 in Tangier, represents a pivotal moment in the implementation of this strategic reform. Held under the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and themed « Advanced Regionalization: Challenges of Today and Tomorrow », this event aims to assess progress and chart a clear roadmap for the future.
Following an initial phase focused on establishing regional structures and adopting foundational planning tools, the current period calls for accelerating the effective realization of this royal initiative. Achieving this requires active engagement from all stakeholders in a spirit of constructive dialogue.
Three levels of challenges will be addressed during the conference:
- Enhancing territorial attractiveness for investment to strengthen sustainable development.
- Adapting to current crises and future transformations, particularly in financial management, transport, and digital transformation.
- Innovating financing mechanisms, essential to tackling cross-cutting challenges.
In summary, this second edition aims to showcase achievements, share best practices, and propose forward-looking solutions to achieve the objectives envisioned by His Majesty the King.
