Ten days after resuming direct flights between Casablanca and São Paulo, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) continues to expand its strategic development in the Brazilian market. Last Tuesday, the airline held an event in São Paulo, bringing together its key travel agents.

This event served as an opportunity for RAM to introduce its new commercial team in Brazil, strengthen relationships with local partners, and explore tourism development opportunities across the Atlantic.

Key Statements Othman Baba, RAM’s regional representative for Brazil and Latin America, highlighted the significance of the meeting. He mentioned that bookings are on the rise, with flights fully booked for the coming weeks, hinting at the possibility of increasing flight frequencies in the medium term.

Travel coordinators, who play a vital role in promoting the airline’s services, manage networks of 2,000 to 3,000 travel agencies. The resumption of this direct route, operating three times a week, has been widely welcomed by industry professionals, addressing the growing demand from both tourists and business travelers.

Morocco’s Tourist Appeal Morocco remains a favorite destination for Brazilian tourism operators. Marrakech and Agadir are top choices, while cities like Rabat, Fès, Essaouira, and southeastern regions draw visitors seeking unique desert experiences.

RAM is also focusing on expanding its Casablanca hub, providing connections to over 97 destinations across 50 countries, solidifying its role as a strategic bridge between Latin America and the rest of the world.
