President-elect Donald Trump announced on Sunday his plan to end what he called the « madness of gender transition » starting on his first day in the White House next month. Speaking at an event in Phoenix, Arizona, he pledged to issue executive orders banning gender-transition procedures for children, removing transgender individuals from the military, and keeping them out of primary, middle, and high schools. Trump also promised to « keep men out of women’s sports, » asserting that the official U.S. government policy would recognize only two genders: male and female.

On immigration, Trump renewed his tough stance by vowing immediate action against « crimes by migrants » and pledging to classify drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. He also mentioned reclaiming American control over the Panama Canal.

During his speech, Trump criticized the administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, calling their term « four long years of failure and national decline. » He promised that his inauguration on January 20 would mark the start of a « new era of peace, prosperity, and national greatness. »

Trump outlined his goals for a second term, including ending the war in Ukraine, bringing stability to the Middle East, and preventing World War III. « I will deliver on these promises, » he declared.
