Weather Forecast for Thursday

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively cold to cold weather with morning and nighttime frost in the southeastern regions, the eastern area, and the high plateaus.

Low clouds with fog patches are expected along the southern coasts, southern regions, and northeastern areas during the morning and night.

Elsewhere, the weather will remain partly cloudy with scattered light rain in Souss inland areas, the Small Atlas, and some zones in the northern Saharan provinces.

Some rainfall is expected west of the Mediterranean coast, along with occasional sand-laden winds in the northern Saharan provinces. Moderate to strong gusts of wind are anticipated in Tangier, the western Small Atlas, and the northern Saharan provinces.

Minimum temperatures will range from -4 to 3°C in the Atlas Mountains, Rif, southeastern slopes, and high plateaus, and between 14 to 17°C in the Strait, central regions, and northern Saharan provinces. Elsewhere, temperatures will range from 4 to 8°C.

During the day, temperatures will remain steady or slightly decrease across most parts of the country.

Regarding sea conditions, the Mediterranean will be slightly to moderately rough, the Strait will be rough, very rough between Tangier and Asilah, slightly to moderately rough between Asilah and Tarfaya, and rough along the rest of the coastline.
