Netanyahu Recovering After Successful Surgery

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a statement on Sunday evening that the head of government had regained consciousness following a prostate removal surgery. The procedure was performed at the « Hadassah » Medical Center in Jerusalem.

According to the statement, the surgery was successfully completed without any complications. Netanyahu, aged 75, woke up in good condition and fully alert.

The office also mentioned that the Prime Minister was transferred to a fortified underground wing to continue his recovery process.

The statement noted that Netanyahu is expected to spend several days under observation in the recovery unit before continuing his recuperation in a secure environment.
