Real Madrid’s Italian coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has sparked questions about his future with the team after avoiding a direct response on the matter.

Ancelotti renewed his contract with the « Merengues » earlier this year for two seasons, keeping him in charge until the summer of 2026.

Despite circulating rumors about a possible move to coach AS Roma, Ancelotti clarified his stance, expressing his immense happiness at Real Madrid and his desire to stay as long as possible.

In his statements, he remarked: « Coaching Roma? There’s a lot of talk about this, but I’m very happy at Real Madrid and want to stay here for as long as possible. Raniéri is a friend and is doing a fantastic job. »

Regarding his future with Real Madrid, Ancelotti remained ambiguous, noting that « no one knows how long they’ll stay in their position. Contracts can be terminated or extended, » leaving all options open.
