La Liga removes Dani Olmo and Pau Victor from Barcelona’s official roster
La Liga has recently removed Dani Olmo and Pau Victor from FC Barcelona’s official roster for the current season.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, the names of Olmo and Victor are no longer listed on La Liga’s official website.
The report states that Andreas Christensen has been reinstated on Barcelona’s roster after the Catalan club temporarily registered Olmo and Victor to replace him during his long-term injury at the start of the season.
Yesterday, Barcelona requested the Spanish Football Federation to issue new licenses for Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. The club also denied requesting or receiving any special exemptions from any other entities to register the players.
La Liga responded to Barcelona by asserting that there was no possibility of continuing the registration of Olmo and Victor beyond December 31. This morning, La Liga formalized the decision by removing the two players from the official roster.
