Fireworks Accidents in Italy

Italy’s Salerno province witnessed « horrific » incidents during New Year’s celebrations, with eight people injured due to fireworks explosions, including two Moroccans who suffered serious injuries.

According to Italian media, a 22-year-old Moroccan man lost his right hand in the Agro Nocerino Sarnese area. He was transported to the hospital after receiving first aid at the scene.

In a similar incident, a 45-year-old Moroccan man was hospitalized after losing his left hand and wrist. Due to the severity of his condition, he is expected to be transferred to the Pellegrini Hospital in Naples for further medical care.
