Logan Paul and Conor McGregor Set to Clash in India
American boxer and social media influencer Logan Paul has shared a video showcasing his intense training session.
This post coincides with reports suggesting a highly anticipated match between Paul and Irishman Conor McGregor is set to take place in India later this month.
According to the British newspaper « The Sun, » preliminary talks began last month to arrange this showdown. McGregor hinted late last week that the deal might be finalized, while Paul added fuel to the rumors by sharing his training footage.
« The Sun » reports that the potential fight would be held at the Wankhede cricket stadium in Mumbai, India.
The idea was proposed by Indian billionaire Anant Ambani as part of a campaign to promote tourism in his country, with both fighters set to receive a staggering sum of £400 million (approximately $500 million), evenly split.
However, « The Sun » notes that no contact has been made with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) or World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the organizations associated with McGregor and Paul respectively.
Logan Paul, 29, hasn’t fought since his victory over American Dillon Danis last October. Meanwhile, Conor McGregor, 36, hasn’t participated in a match since breaking his left leg during his third bout with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
