Urgent Rescue: Royal Navy Saves Patient at Sea
Last Thursday, the Royal Moroccan Navy conducted an urgent operation to rescue a patient aboard a foreign cargo ship flying the Marshall Islands flag, sailing 111 kilometers west of Casablanca.
According to an official statement shared on social media by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the intervention responded to a distress signal issued by the Rescue and Coordination Operations Center. The alert indicated that a passenger was suffering from multiple fractures.
A Royal Navy helicopter was immediately dispatched to the vessel’s location. The patient was transferred using a specialized medical stretcher to the Sheikh Khalifa International University Hospital for necessary treatment.
