Weather Forecast for Saturday

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects cold to very cold weather this Saturday in the interior regions of the country, particularly in the Atlas areas, its eastern slopes, the Rif highlands, and the eastern part of the country.

Frost or ice formation is anticipated overnight and in the early morning over the highlands and nearby areas. The sky will be partly covered with high-altitude clouds in the northern half of the kingdom. Additionally, local fog may form near the northern and central Atlantic coasts during the night and morning, while dust particles may rise in the southern provinces.

Easterly winds will prevail in the Saharan regions and the southern Anti-Atlas, while weak and variable winds are expected elsewhere.

Minimum temperatures will range from -5 to 1°C in the Atlas mountains, the eastern plateaus, and southeastern slopes, 1 to 7°C in the remaining eastern, southeastern, Rif, and northern and central interior regions, and 6 to 13°C in other parts of the country.

During the day, temperatures will see a slight increase or remain mostly unchanged.

As for sea conditions, the sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, slightly rough to rough between Tangier and Cape Ghir, and slightly rough in the south.
